WYAAP to launch WYA Philippine Celebrity Ambassadors


WYA Asia Pacific will be entering into an exciting partnership with GMA Network, Inc. Artist Center this September. Four of its young and talented artists will become the first World Youth Alliance Celebrity Ambassadors in the Philippines. A formal contract signing between WYA Asia Pacific and GMA Network and its artists will be held on September 30, 2014 at GMA 7 Network Building. The WYA Ambassadors will be launched during the Solidarity Night of the 3rd WYA Asia Pacific Emerging Leaders Conference on October 17, 2014 at Traders Hotel Manila.

The partnership aims to provide support to the advocacy, membership and programs of WYAAP; opportunities for the artists to expand their professional career in the field of youth development, training and empowerment; and an avenue for the artists to have an opportunity to gain experience in the different projects of WYA Asia Pacific.

“We are very excited for this great opportunity to collaborate with GMA 7 Network and to work with their artists to promote human dignity and solidarity among the Filipino youth to create a difference in solving difference issues and challenges faced by the Filipino youth today,” WYA Asia Pacific Regional Director, gladly shares.

GMA Network Inc. is one of the biggest television networks in the Philippines. The Artist Center or Talent Development and Management Department is home to over 150 talents to date.
