World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific staff and regional interns will visit Bangkok City, Thailand from July 27 to 29, 2015 and Jakarta City, Indonesia from August 17 to 21, 2015. The two visits aim to expand the work of WYA in these two countries and meet current and potential partner organizations for upcoming project collaborations.
During the Bangkok visit, WYAAP staff and interns will meet and speak to the students and faculty of Mahidol University, one of its partner schools. In addition, they will also meet other schools who would like to partner with WYAAP or open Chapters in their schools. WYAAP will also meet some of its partners who are based in Bangkok including the International Organization of Migration Asia Pacific and the ASEAN University Network.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta visit will focus on a Track A Training workshop to select students of the London School of Public Relations (LSPR)-Jakarta, to train and prepare the students to open a WYA Chapter in their university. Last year, WYAAP and LSPR also signed a partnership agreement for the WYAAP regional internship program.
