World Youth Alliance is pleased to announce the results of the Photo Contest “¿Qué haces por el medio ambiente?” on “My Road to Rio¨. The winners are:

The following photos were taken by our WYALA members. The pictures demonstrate how they contributed in their communities to put sustainable development in action. Here are their stories:
FIRST PLACE:
The photo was taken in the indigenous region of Shiroles (Talamanca) in Costa Rica, near the border with Panama.
Towards Sustainable Development, university students participated in the construction of a school for the children.
"The picture to me represents hope. Future generations will be aware of the heritage but also of responsibility to promote education and values such as respect for the environment and the defense of life.
