WYAME Visits and Trains Moroccan Young Leaders

The World Youth Alliance Middle East held a regional visit to the countries included in the Emerging Leaders of the Arab Region (ELAR), a project that is funded by the UNDEF and implemented by the WYAME office. Morocco was the last stop on this visit that took place from 19th–27th of July 2016.

The staff had meetings to promote and advocate for human rights, youth empowerment and solidarity. They held the remaining part of the Certified Training Program in order to give the opportunity for the ELAR’s participants to become certified. The staff also attended meetings with leading Moroccan initiatives with the aim of strengthening WYAME’s network in the region. The visit mostly took place in Rabat, Casablanca, Marakesh and Tiflet.

Tiflet In addition, the staff met with the National Committee, certified trainers and members to discuss future strategies and develop an action plan for WYA’s presence in Morocco.
