WYA NA Director of Operations, Pauline Go, together with WYA NA intern and Hofstra University student, Evelyn Velasquez, attended the 2015 Hofstra Spring Career Fair at Hostra University last March 6. Through this visit, Hofstra university students signed up to become new members and learn more about the work of World Youth Alliance in North America. Students also learned about the WYA Internship Program.
The WYA Internship Program provides opportunities for young people who are inspired by the ideas and work of the World Youth Alliance (WYA) to gain professional skills working on WYA’s projects and a substantive learning experience on WYA’s core ideas. Projects are designed to enhance each student’s specific academic background and interests. Interns receive mentorship and training from WYA staff members. To find more information, you can visit our internship page.
WYA North America is now a participating organization with Hofstra University’s Online Career Services Program which gives internship opportunities to university students to develop their skills and abilities in their field of study. For all Hofstra Students, you can find our internship postings on the Pride-CMS Portal.
