The week of February 14, 2018, the World Youth Alliance PEI Chapter, on Prince Edward Island, Canada, completed their first Dignity Project. The small group gathered together to create more than 120 valentines, which they delivered to residents at a local nursing home on Valentine’s Day. It was an important project for the members, as it was a simple and special way to reach out in their community and acknowledge the dignity of each individual. The hand-made flowers and cards were received with big smiles, and the chapter is very much looking forward to their next Dignity Project opportunity.
